Concept Videos
I choreographed, filmed, directed, and edited a concept dance video set to Nangs by Tame Impala. The video explores the theme of fitting into societal molds and the struggle to break free from those constraints. It features a contrast of sharp and fluid movements to express the tension between conformity and individuality. Through creative visuals and choreography, it captures the dreamy, hypnotic energy of the song, with every element carefully crafted to connect the music with the emotion of the dance.
I directed and edited a concept dance video in collaboration with KPACK at NCSU! The video features original choreography by District, complementing the original choreography by TWICE. Each group had designated sections to showcase their skills, then came together to show our teamwork.
