FTM 271 - Computer Aided Textile Design
In this course, we learned to use design software for woven, knitted, and printed textiles, including Adobe Photoshop, Pointcarre, and Monarch. We also explored essential equipment for the design process and visited textile design centers for real-world insights.

Throughout the semester, we curated a diverse collection of print, knit, and woven textile designs. My collection, Utsukushi Basho, draws inspiration from my unforgettable trip to Japan in the summer of 2023. This once-in-a-lifetime experience left a lasting impression on me, and through this collection, I aim to preserve those memories while sharing a glimpse of my journey with the viewer.
